Editorial Reviews:
A short history of the experiences of the Czech children interned by the Nazis in the garrison town of Terezin during World War II. The book presents several samples of the magazine Vedem, published secretly by 16 year old Petr Ginz, that contained childrens prose and poetry. The book also contains several examples of drawings from the children. These can be divided into those that depict memories of their former lives and those depicting the reality of concentration camp life.
