Summary: Gala Concert in the Spanish Hall at Prague Castle
Comment: I was at the original concert. This brings it all back - magnificent! The video technique in those days, soon after the Velvet Revolution, leaves a little to be desired and the transfer to DVD shows up some imperfections in quality but the music performances are super. This is one of the first recordings made by Bernada Fink and at the time I marked her name well for future glory. How justified I was in that opinion.
Belohlavek shows all his mastery as a conductor and the orchestra was in superb form.
