Summary: Bad dubbing!
Comment: The voice dubbing on the film is horrific. It's like watching a bad karate movie. There mouths are moving, but the words don't come out until a few seconds later.

Summary: Pippy is still great after all these years!
Comment: I remember watching Pippy Longstocking as a young girl and loving it. Now my 4 and 5 year old love her too. It is funny to realize that it is dubbed in English, didn't notice that as a child and my kids haven't noticed it either. My husband and I got a kick out of it the first time we watched it as adults. Doesn't take away from the movie.

Comment: This video is great - one of my daughter's favourites! Glad to see Pippi is still alive and well. This is a classic and very much appreciated by me, as a parent, in a time when plastic people such as Hannah Montana and Jessica Simpson reign.

Summary: GIFT FOR TROUBLED ADOLESCENTS
Comment: I bought this movie because my daughter is in a therapeutic Boarding School for troubled children ages 10 to 14. Before she left i had given her a little pippi doll. It seems some of the other children were scared of this doll.

Come to find out these kids had never heard of Pippi!! Ohhhh no no no!! I wasn't having that!
Well the school allows donations because they are allowed to watch PG movies from time to time as special treats. So my gears got to grinding and well i thought Pippi would be PERFECT for these troubled girls in this school to watch. I ordered this movie and had NO PROBLEMS getting it in the time i requested. I got it just in the nick of time to bring up to her school and the counselors were sooooooooo happy! They were happy they did not have to watch re-runs of the Sound of Music and Freaky Friday which is what they were watching and the children? Oooooooooooooooo they LOVEEEED THIS MOVIE and i dare say it has those children humming Pippi and helping them to be children again which was MUCH NEEDED!!!
I would recommend anyone to order this movie for your child or to donate to a good cause/charity.
