I was born in 1984 so this is MY generation movie. I never even READ the books until I saw this movie at 8. I have to say for those people who gave it bad reviews, this is something I think a lot of people love BECAUSE they grew up on it! I've been thinking of it recently and imagine my surprise that it's on DVD!! I've ordered a copy of it and can't wait to watch it again!
